TheBox –
Audiovisual Installation
Ars CarinthiaWith this project, we stepped beyond our usual core field of film and animation to explore a different facet of what we love most: design as a multi-layered craft. We were invited by Walter Hösl to create our own contribution for the exhibition „TheBOX)“ by ars Carinthia — an honor and a great
opportunity to develop an installation piece in a new format.
The exhibition brings together a wide range of renowned artists and designers — including Peppo Pichler, Ina Loitzl, Matteo Thun, Richard Klammer, and many others — and highlights the inspiring overlap between art and craftsmanship. For us, the project became a strong reminder that collaboration can create a value that goes beyond any single discipline.
Together with composer Daniel Stadler I frame.records studio, we designed an audiovisual video installation that combines moving image, rhythm, and atmosphere within the confined space of the box. The concept plays with perception, layering, and immersion — turning the box into a small-scale stage where light, motion, and sound form one coherent experience.
We’re grateful to have been part of this exhibition and proud to contribute alongside so many outstanding creatives. A heartfelt thank you to Walter Hösl for the invitation and the trust.
