Morning
Routine
Monte Nero ProductionsMorning Routine is a fully AI-generated short film created as an internal test project to explore and demonstrate our creative capabilities in AI-based filmmaking. The goal was to push beyond technical experimentation and develop a visually compelling piece that showcases how artificial
intelligence can be used as a serious tool for cinematic storytelling, design, and world-building.
The film follows three distinct personas through their morning routines, revealing how a familiar daily ritual can take on very different moods, rhythms, and visual identities. From intimate domestic moments to more stylized, playful, and exaggerated scenes, the project explores a wide range of atmospheres while maintaining a coherent visual language throughout.
As a test project, Morning Routine allowed us to examine key aspects of AI-driven production in practice: character consistency, scene composition, motion behavior, transitions, and the creation of believable yet highly designed environments. It also served as an opportunity to refine our workflow and better understand the creative potential of emerging AI tools within a filmic context.
The result is a compact visual piece that combines experimentation with aesthetic precision. More than a technical showcase, Morning Routine reflects our interest in using AI as a new creative medium for contemporary moving image production.
