Neo
Nuggets
Samsara FilmproduktionFor the feature film “Neo Nuggets”, we had the honor of creating the opening title sequence — a defining moment that sets the tone before the story even begins. Our goal was to design a James Bond–inspired intro that introduces the cast with style and confidence, while weaving in stylized fragments
of the film to hint at its world, energy, and characters.
Visually, the sequence is built as a bold hybrid of high-end 3D animation and AI assisted workflows, driven by a strong, unmistakable material concept: gold. More than just a color choice, gold became our narrative glue — a premium surface that connects typography, motion, and imagery into one cohesive flow. It allowed us to create iconic silhouettes, transitions, and reveal moments that feel cinematic, playful, and larger than life, while still staying precise and readable on the big screen.
We developed the sequence from look development and style frames through to animation, compositing, and final finishing, focusing on rhythm, impact, and clarity. The cast cards are designed to feel like part of the spectacle, not an overlay: integrated into the motion language, supported by elegant camera moves, and punctuated by punchy, film-driven visual motifs. The result is an opener that nods to classic spy-title aesthetics — sleek, glamorous, and slightly mischievous — while remaining contemporary and tailored to “Neo Nuggets.”
A heartfelt thank you to director Andreas Schmied, producer Loredana Rehenkampf, and Samsara Filmproduktion for the trust and the opportunity to showcase our work on the cinema screen. Special thanks as well to our VFX partner Christian Vollenhofer for the close collaboration and smooth integration into the film pipeline. We’re proud to have delivered an intro that shines, surprises, and welcomes the audience into the „pulled pork crime“ universe.
